Analysis of
African youth organization website
The website of African youth
organization; a non-governmental organistion, is concerned with youth development in Africa. tthe organisation"s website is designed in such away that anyone visiting the site for the first time will want to be a part of the movement, but then their are lapses in the website construction. this means that the website can be improved upon.
The search of African youth organisation is adequate, in the sense that they have
live search where you can get quick access to information about the organisation.
Contact
They have two ways through which any interested memeber can contact them, either by Facebook or twitter, but no count is added
to show the number of people that have visited the website.
An overview of the website
Looking that the website i.e the home page at a glance
has different section through which one can get information on various departments
of the site and how they operate. It is easy for one to download and save
picture right from the home page of the website, without linking to another
page.
How
I can improve the websiteI
I will improve it by adding phone
numbers to it for easy communication and access for prospective
members.
The information on the site are not up to date, I will update
it to show present activity of the organisation.
I will also add pictures of historic events in africa,to the gallery section of the website in order to showcase the beauty of africa and her people. pictures of the organisation
achievements will not be left out, instead of flagging pictures that don’t add value or pass message to viewers.
Everything is all about Nigeria. Even though
it was clearly stated in their vision statement that they want to create a
network of youths in Africa. If I was to create
or design the website, I will provide information about other African countries
so that the organization will meet up to its vision, not only that, it is
going to be an avenue for other African countries to feel at home while on the
site.
Finally,I will improve the site by adding breath-taking Afican stories that make
African thick. This will make the site more
interesting for the members as well as the prospective members.
